Youth Ministry
St. David's is pleased to have both Alec Carlsen and Ashley Waldron as our Youth Ministers.  Both Ashley and Alec have been members of the church all their lives and are extremely excited about the upcoming year.  Ashley and Alec are planning events throughout the year for both the Junior High (Grades 6 - 8) and the Senior High (Grades 9 - 12) youth group as well as a curriculum for the Senior High Sunday School classes meeting after Sunday masses.   

 

St. David’s Youth Ministry

 

14 members of the Youth group and three adult chaperones ventured out on a Mission Trip to the small town of Dunmore, West Virginia.  The youth participated in a week-long program organized by Group Workcamps, a non-denominational Christian camp organization which sets up and creates service opportunities for Christian youth and adults to connect with small town communities struggling with poverty.  They departed on Saturday, June 12th and returned on Saturday, June 19th.  The youth were commissioned for the trip at the 9:30 mass on Sunday June 6th.
