Calling all adults who would like to help with programs for the youth of our congregation!  We are forming a Young Adult Ministry Team (YAMT) to help support our youth ministers and clergy and to provide additional programs for the youth and young adults of St. David's.  NO experience necessary - just a passion for working with young people.  We will have an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the church library.  If you are interested in helping with this ministry but can't attend this meeting, please contact the church office at 847-724-1341.

One of many services Paul Frazer offered to St. David's was the Barbara Frazer Memorial Phone Tree.  Some parishioners missed Barbara's funeral so Paul developed the phone tree and revised it to include those who do not receive e-mails.  We need to revise the list again.  If you do not have e-mail and did not receive a call about Paul's funeral, please let the office know if you would like to be included on the list.  Also we need another caller or two.  You would have to make about five or six calls.  Please let the office know.

St. Anne's Guild will be meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m.,at Periyali's Greek Tavern in Des Plaines.  If you are interested in attending, please contact the church office.

The St. David's recital will be Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.  If you are a musician or vocalist please share your gifts with the St. David's community during this special annual event.  For information and scheduling, please contact the church office at 847-724-1341.

St. David's Annual Dinner Dance benefiting St. David's Youth will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Room at the Glenview Park Center.  Tickets are $37 per person and may be purchased through the church office.  Please contact the office if you have items and/or services you would like to donate to the auction.  We are looking for people to help with this event.   If you are interested, please contact the office at 847-724-1341 or email office@stdavidsglenview.com  Thank you for supporting St. David's Youth!

Look for the Red Wagon in the Narthex to use for your non-food contributions for the Northfield Township Food Pantry recipients.  We truly appreciate your generosity in this ongoing endeavor for the needy.  If you would add just one extra item each time you are making household purchases, then drop it off in the wagon, together we will make a difference.
