March Events

Scout Sunday Please attend the 9:30 service on March 14th to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Scouting with St. David's Troop 32 Boy Scouts.  Visit with the scouts after the service and hear what they do to have fun and serve the community.

March LAFF Gathering  All the ladies of St. David's are invited to a pre-St. Patrick's Day gathering on Tuesday, March 16th.  Please let the office know if you would like to attend, and whether you will be bringing an appetizer, dessert, or a beverage.  Please note:  this is a date change from what appeared in the Evangel.

Pancake Breakfast  Come one, come all to our All-Parish Pancake Breakfast!  Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 21st, we will serve pancakes, sausage, and fruit.  Beverages include coffee, tea and juice.  Proceeds from breakfast will help fund this year's Youth Mission Trip to West Virginia.

St. Anne's Guild will be making palm crosses on Thursday, March 25th.  We will meet in the church undercroft at 7:00 p.m.  Bring your scissors and come join in some fellowship!

Change of Date!  St. David's Annual Celebration of the Arts, previously scheduled for March, has been changed to Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the church.  Please contact the church office if you would like to exhibit your talents or perform an instrument.

Look for the red wagon in the Narthex to use for your non-food contributions for the Northfield Township Food Pantry recipients.  We truly appreciate your generosity in this ongoing endeavor for the needy.  If you would add just one extra item each time you are making household purchases, then drop it off in the wagon, together we will make a difference.

Donations for Lawrence Hall  As the season of Spring arrives, these kids sure could use our help!  The following items are requested at this time:  sports items:  kites, Frisbees, volleyballs, footballs.  Craft Items:  crayons, papers, paste, scrap booking items.  Other items:  DVDs, deodorant, white socks, baby bottles, baby blankets.  A market box will be in the Narthex for your donation items.  Barely used or new preferred.  Thank you for your ongoing support of this outreach!

Please remember to drop off your unused eyeglasses at the church office or place them in the box in the Narthex.  Thank you for supporting Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH)!

Altar Flowers:  Remember a special occasion or a loved one by donating altar flowers.  Please pick up a form at the ushers table or call the church office at 847-724-1341.
